Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the chocolate protein powder, almond or oat flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix the honey or maple syrup, Greek yogurt or applesauce, eggs, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Combine Wet and Dry: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until fully incorporated. Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips if you choose to include them for extra chocolate flavor.
- Transfer to Pan: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly using a spatula.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean with just a few moist crumbs for fudginess.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into 9 squares for serving.
