Ingredients
Scale
Main Ingredients
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons Nutella
- 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee or 1 shot espresso
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup ice cubes
Optional Topping
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- Brew Coffee or Espresso: If using espresso, pull your shot. Otherwise, brew your coffee and let it cool slightly before using to prevent melting the ice too quickly.
- Warm the Nutella: Place Nutella in a small bowl and microwave for 10–20 seconds or warm gently on the stovetop to soften it, making it easier to blend.
- Blend Main Ingredients: In a blender, combine the milk, sugar, softened Nutella, coffee or espresso, and vanilla extract. Pulse and blend until smooth and well mixed.
- Add Ice and Blend: Add the ice cubes to the blender and blend on high speed for about 1 minute, until the frappe is creamy and fully smooth.
- Serve: Pour the frappe into a tall glass. Optionally, top with whipped cream and serve immediately for a delightful treat.
Notes
- Use strong brewed coffee or espresso for best flavor intensity.
- Warming Nutella slightly helps it blend smoothly without lumps.
- Adjust sugar to taste depending on your preference and the sweetness of Nutella.
- For a vegan version, substitute milk with plant-based milk and ensure whipped cream is dairy-free.
- Drink immediately for best texture and freshness.
