Classic Cheeseburger Sliders are perfect bite-sized hamburgers made with seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar cheese, and slider buns. These sliders are easy to prepare and baked to perfection, making them a crowd-pleasing appetizer or meal for gatherings and family dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
Beef Patties
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Assembly
- 12 slider buns
- 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, mustard
- Optional: melted butter for brushing buns
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to get it ready for baking the sliders later.
- Prepare the Beef Patties: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly but gently to avoid compacting the meat.
- Shape Patties: Divide the seasoned beef mixture into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into small, flat patties sized to fit the slider buns.
- Cook the Patties: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are browned and cooked through. Remove from heat.
- Assemble the Sliders: Place each cooked patty on a slider bun bottom. Top each patty with half a slice of cheddar cheese and add any optional toppings like lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, or mustard. Cover with the top half of the buns. If desired, brush the tops of the buns with melted butter for extra flavor.
- Bake the Sliders: Arrange the assembled sliders on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the buns are slightly toasted.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and serve the sliders warm, perfect as a snack or meal for parties and family dinners.
Notes
- You can customize the toppings based on your preference for extra flavor and texture.
- For juicier patties, avoid pressing them too thin or compact during shaping.
- To save time, the patties can also be grilled instead of pan-cooked.
- Brush buns with melted butter before baking to enhance color and flavor.
- Slider size makes them great for appetizers or kid-friendly meals.
