Description

This Parmesan Garlic Chicken Pizza combines tender, seasoned chicken with rich Alfredo sauce, crispy bacon, and melted mozzarella on a crispy homemade or pre-made pizza crust, finished with a touch of Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce and garnished with dried parsley for a flavorful, crowd-pleasing meal.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into small cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce (small amount, to toss cooked chicken)

Pizza Crust

  • 2 (6.5 oz) packs pizza crust mix, plus ingredients required by package directions (or pre-made crust)
  • Olive oil or cooking spray to grease baking sheet

Toppings

  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • Dried parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook Chicken: Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the cubed chicken and season evenly with ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon paprika, and 1 teaspoon garlic powder. Cook the chicken until fully cooked through and no longer pink inside, stirring occasionally for even cooking. Remove from heat and toss the chicken with a small amount of Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce to coat and infuse additional flavor.
  2. Prepare Crust: While the chicken is cooking, prepare the pizza crust according to the package directions if using mix, or use a pre-made crust. Spread the dough evenly over a greased baking sheet. Poke holes throughout the dough with a fork to prevent bubbling. Bake the crust in a preheated oven at 475°F (245°C) for 5 to 10 minutes until it starts to set but has not browned significantly.
  3. Assemble Pizza: Remove the partially baked crust from the oven. Spread 1 cup of Alfredo sauce evenly over the crust. Sprinkle a portion of the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce. Distribute the cooked Parmesan garlic coated chicken evenly over the cheese layer. Add the remaining mozzarella cheese over the chicken, then evenly scatter the cooked and chopped bacon on top.
  4. Bake Pizza: Place the assembled pizza back into the oven at 475°F (245°C) and bake for approximately 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden around the edges.
  5. Serve: Remove the pizza from the oven and garnish with dried parsley for a fresh finish. Slice and serve hot to enjoy the perfect blend of crispy crust, savory chicken, and rich cheese.

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked bacon for convenience and reduce grease on the pizza.
  • Poking holes in the crust before the initial bake prevents unwanted large bubbles during baking.
  • Adjust seasoning in the chicken to taste, adding more garlic powder for extra flavor if desired.
  • If you can’t find Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce, substitute with a combination of grated Parmesan cheese and garlic powder mixed with a little butter or olive oil.
  • For a crispier crust, bake the pizza on a pizza stone if available.
