Ingredients
Scale
For the Burger Patties
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Wraps
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1/2 cup tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 1 tablespoon butter (for grilling)
Instructions
- Prepare the Patties: In a bowl, combine the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly and form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Cook the Burgers: Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Place the patties on the hot surface and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked through.
- Melt the Cheese: When the burgers are nearly done, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt while still on the heat.
- Assemble the Wraps: Lay each tortilla flat on a clean surface. Place one cheeseburger patty in the center of each tortilla. Then add shredded lettuce, diced tomato, sliced pickles, ketchup, and mustard on top of the burger.
- Wrap the Burrito-style: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to form a secure wrap.
- Grill the Wraps: Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place each wrap seam-side down in the skillet. Grill for about 2-3 minutes per side until the wraps are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve: Remove the wraps from the skillet and cut in half. Serve immediately while warm and enjoy.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- Use whole wheat tortillas for added fiber and nutrition.
- Add sliced onions or jalapeños for extra flavor and heat.
- Ensure wraps are tightly rolled to prevent filling leakage during grilling.
