Description

These Grilled Cheeseburger Wraps are a delicious twist on classic cheeseburgers, wrapped in warm tortillas with fresh lettuce, tomato, pickles, and tangy condiments. Perfect for a quick and satisfying meal, they combine juicy grilled beef patties with melted cheddar cheese, all grilled to golden perfection in a buttery skillet.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Burger Patties

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Wraps

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for grilling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Patties: In a bowl, combine the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly and form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
  2. Cook the Burgers: Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Place the patties on the hot surface and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked through.
  3. Melt the Cheese: When the burgers are nearly done, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt while still on the heat.
  4. Assemble the Wraps: Lay each tortilla flat on a clean surface. Place one cheeseburger patty in the center of each tortilla. Then add shredded lettuce, diced tomato, sliced pickles, ketchup, and mustard on top of the burger.
  5. Wrap the Burrito-style: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to form a secure wrap.
  6. Grill the Wraps: Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place each wrap seam-side down in the skillet. Grill for about 2-3 minutes per side until the wraps are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve: Remove the wraps from the skillet and cut in half. Serve immediately while warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • Use whole wheat tortillas for added fiber and nutrition.
  • Add sliced onions or jalapeños for extra flavor and heat.
  • Ensure wraps are tightly rolled to prevent filling leakage during grilling.
