- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Freshly ground black pepper (for garnish)
Pineapple
- 1 1/2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
Garlic Butter Sauce
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Steak: Season the beef cubes with salt and pepper to ensure they are well flavored.
- Heat the Oil: Warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat to prepare for searing the steak.
- Sear the Steak Bites: Add the beef cubes to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Cook the Pineapple: In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of butter and the pineapple chunks. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the pineapple is slightly caramelized, then remove and set aside.
- Make the Garlic Butter: Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add Soy Sauce and Honey (Optional): Stir in soy sauce and honey to the garlic butter for an extra layer of flavor.
- Combine and Toss: Return the steak bites and caramelized pineapple to the skillet. Toss everything together thoroughly in the garlic butter sauce until well coated.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper for added spice and serve immediately for best taste.

- Soy sauce and honey are optional, but they add a nice sweet and savory balance.
