Pie Crust

Cherry Filling

- 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini muffin tin or line it with mini muffin liners to prevent sticking.
- Cut Pie Crust: Unroll the refrigerated pie crusts and use a cookie cutter or a glass to cut them into approximately 2-inch diameter circles suitable for mini muffin cups.
- Thicken Cherry Filling: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the cherry pie filling, cornstarch, and water. Stir constantly for about 3-4 minutes until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly to make it easier to handle.
- Fill Crusts: Place the pie crust circles into the prepared mini muffin tin, gently pressing them into each cup to form a small shell.
- Add Filling: Spoon a small amount of the thickened cherry filling evenly into each pie crust shell, being careful not to overfill.
- Bake: Bake the pie bites in the preheated oven for 15–18 minutes, or until the crust turns golden brown and the filling is bubbly and set.
- Finish and Cool: Remove from the oven and optionally sprinkle the tops with sugar for extra sweetness and a slight crunch. Allow the bites to cool for a few minutes before serving.
