Ingredients
Scale
Garlic Butter Mixture
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Cheesy Tortillas
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Prepare garlic butter mixture: In a small bowl, thoroughly mix the softened butter with minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt until well combined, ensuring even distribution of flavors.
- Butter the tortillas: Spread a thin, even layer of the garlic butter mixture on one side of each of the four tortillas, setting them aside for assembly.
- Assemble the tortilla stacks: On the unbuttered sides of two tortillas, sprinkle an even mix of shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Then place the remaining two tortillas on top, buttered sides facing outwards, creating two quesadilla-style stacks.
- Preheat the air fryer: Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and allow it to preheat for a few minutes to ensure optimal cooking temperature.
- Cook in the air fryer: Place one tortilla stack in the air fryer basket and cook for 4–5 minutes, flipping halfway through to achieve golden, crispy surfaces on both sides. Repeat this process with the second stack.
- Serve: Remove from the air fryer, slice each stack into wedges, and serve warm for the best flavor and texture experience.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sprinkle Italian seasoning or crushed red pepper flakes on top before air frying.
- Optionally add a thin layer of marinara sauce inside the tortilla stack for a pizza-style twist.
- Best served immediately fresh but can be reheated in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes to regain crispness.
